This is what Go Bike Go set out to solve by providing solutions for dealers to work together in order to sell their inventory and become more profitable. This means that dealers can now work together by casting a wider net on their market access, supplying a demand wherever it may be by sharing inventory, getting rid of it more quickly, and effectively closing more sales, faster.

The Problem

Go Bike Go was not looking for a specific solution, but rather a tech partner to provide orientation and that was able to join their operation and fully understand their needs and goals.

The Solution

We began by stepping in as project managers, analyzing their existing setup, identifying pain points, and reviewing their integrations with third-party providers.Once we had a clear picture, we developed several proof-of-concepts (POCs) to show how their platform could be reimagined, making it more scalable, more reliable, and tailored to their needs. This led them to entrust us with building their entire platform from scratch!We engineered the solution using Ruby on Rails and Next.js, with GraphQL and PostgreSQL as the core stack. We integrated the platform with the Shopify API to sync inventory and orders, while processing orders externally for greater flexibility. The system enables bike shop owners to run highly customized storefronts, handling everything from complex bike configurations to accessories, deliveries, and more.Key features include a bidding system to select winning offers, as well as integrations with Stripe for payments and Shippo for automated shipping label generation. The result is a solid, well-architected, and scalable e-commerce platform, ready to seamlessly onboard new bike shops and support their growth.
