About Clayful

Clayful is an online platform with an inspiring mission: to protect children and teenagers' mental health by providing support to schools, students and families through a network of certified coaches. This platform puts schools at the center of young people's mental health needs, making sure no kid is left unheard. Whether they require emotional or academic support, Clayful's commited to building stronger and healthier communities by leaving no one behind.

The Problem

Clayful needed to build a mobile app that would allow students to access their lessons, reusing their existing backend infrastructure. At the same time, they required ongoing support and new features for their current web platform.

The Solution

We built a mobile PWA using Next.js and Capacitor, compatible with both iOS and Android. To connect with the current infrastructure, we created Firebase functions that integrate with Memberstack for authentication and Webflow’s CMS API to serve content.

On the web platform, we expanded the existing Webflow build, adding new screens and managing content access through Memberstack. We also integrated Finsweet libraries and custom Firebase functions. The platform handles three different user roles, students, educators, and guardians, each with access to different sections and flows.

Conclusion

Clayful now offers a seamless experience across web and mobile, making their support network more accessible to students wherever they are. The new tools give educators, guardians, and students tailored access to the platform, helping Clayful continue scaling their mission without compromising on care or usability.
