The Problem

YGP was looking for a tech partner to provide advice and assistance on building a B2B platform for their clients in the cannabis-derived products transportation sector in Boston, Massachusetts. This involved creating a diverse set of tools.

The Solution

GoGrow has provided consulting and software development for YGP, from concept to launch.

We started with their B2B platform, where their clients sign up and submit delivery requests for the following days. These requests include details such as the number of packages, size, pick-up and drop-off locations, and contact information. Within the platform, YGP admin users can accept or reject requests and generate routes either manually or assisted by AI algorithms. The designed platform also enables the management of vehicles, drivers, locations, and users.

The platform is built with Next.js, Strapi, and PostgreSQL, and integrates with SendGrid for email delivery. It is integrated with Onfleet to sync routes and with METRC for delivery synchronization (a Cannabis Compliance Tracking System and Software).

In addition, we are developing a mobile app with Next.js and Capacitor so drivers can access their daily route information from a phone assigned to each vehicle. In the app, they can see the packages to be delivered at each stop, scan them for matching, and complete the stops!
